My Story
There is nothing better than making a bride feel on top of the world on her wedding day and getting to be a part of that special morning. With every enquiry that comes through, I am truly filled with joy knowing that I get to do it all over again.
Ocassion makeup also has a special place in my heart! Getting to help you feel confident at any age for what ever the reason may be puts a huge smile on my face.
My goal is to give you that special 1 on 1 time, to make you feel pampered to give you time for YOU! And of course, make you feel and look like the best possible version of yourself!
I have always enjoyed expressing my creative side through dancing and acting from a young age; then I found makeup. Unfortunately I am not one of these artists that have a beautiful story about loving makeup from a young age or playing with my mums! In fact I never really remember wearing much (I wish my story was that sweet!). It came a lot later in life. I simply loved watching tutorials and seeing the transformations, it was so creative and inspired me so much! Plus suffering with bad hormonal acne, I began to realise the confidence it gave me and how good that felt; there is such a power to makeup! From covering a few spots or concealing those unwanted dark circles, you can feel
instantly confident about yourself and ready to take on anything. I started to think can I make others feel this same joy and confidence?
I do believe that makeup should enhance your natural beauty and not act as a mask. Don't get me wrong, I think it is fascinating how makeup can completely alter your appearance. However, that is all for fun! On your wedding day, or when you are celebrating an occasion the best thing you can do is turn up as yourself. Every face is beautiful and sometimes it just takes enhancing those features to help people to realise it for themselves.
I began searching for a makeup course. I had no idea if I could actually do makeup on other people! But, I wanted the best. I searched and searched, I wanted that special one on one training and not to be competing for attention.
That is when I found the Kristina Gasperas Academy and I am so glad I did! I took up a bridal and occasion makeup course with Kristina herself. This is when I really fell in love with the idea of being a makeup artist!
So here I now am :) ready to talk all things makeup with you (because I am obsessed!) and make you feel a more confident you.
